2013-03-20 21:11:27 - AlexEverard: alternatively - Yellow, how do you fancy us teaming up vs the other 2 - I think we probably have the edge,
2013-03-20 21:11:45 - AlexEverard: then battle it out for Gold/Silver ?
2013-03-21 02:17:20 - yonstineru: Green I think it is kinda early to start calling winners, I think I want to keep it like it is for now.
2013-03-21 08:11:15 - Machee: Red I have no intention to go further into your territory, I just want to hold the bonus for survival. You will be giving my territory to someone else if you keep attacking me like that
2013-03-21 08:12:23 - Machee: Green I would love the truce. I am being beaten very badly, no chance of holding back the advance of yellow at all even if I throw everything I have at him...
2013-03-21 13:38:08 - General Quigley: Cyan, by making that truce I think you have ensured green wins, not you, or anyone else. I consider that unfair to the other players, another reason I don't make truces or like to play with truce makers.
2013-03-21 13:40:17 - General Quigley: Not saying making truces this way is illegal, just unethical.
2013-03-21 13:40:38 - General Quigley: And not much fun.
2013-03-21 13:41:30 - General Quigley: But very well. Can't beat 'em, join 'em I guess. Yellow, I suggest we concentrate our forces on green and cyan.
2013-03-21 13:41:53 - General Quigley: I offer you a truce yellow. I won't attack you anyway.
2013-03-21 13:43:26 - yonstineru: Sure red, probably as meaningless as the green-cyan truce.
2013-03-21 13:47:23 - General Quigley: Two round notice?
2013-03-21 13:48:03 - General Quigley: That's what Alex usually proposes.
2013-03-21 13:52:14 - yonstineru: sure red, whatever makes you happy
2013-03-21 14:11:15 - General Quigley: that will do it
2013-03-21 18:21:34 - AlexEverard: Unethical? If Green also thought he was giving an advantage to me without valid 'in game' reasons, then probably, yes.
2013-03-21 18:22:54 - AlexEverard: However, if it increases his chances of victory, or satisfies a purely 'in game' revenge (NOT carried over from one game to another)
2013-03-21 18:23:45 - AlexEverard: (or, in a tournament, improves his position / tournament score) then he is playing correctly.
2013-03-21 18:26:08 - AlexEverard: And if he was previously in a death-spiral and has a chance to survive, that has to increase his chances of winning (maybe hell turn on me later with your support, and go on to win? or maybe you two will crush me much more than him? or whatever?)
2013-03-21 18:26:22 - AlexEverard: Anyway, thats my opinion - you are free to hold your own.
2013-03-21 18:46:10 - yonstineru: green, thanks for honoring your truce with me. nice two turn notice.
2013-03-21 20:55:27 - AlexEverard: well, you just publicly announced you were going for me!
2013-03-21 20:56:07 - AlexEverard: Also, I checked the log, and we didnt specify a notice period, which surprised me, as I usuallly do like to do so.
2013-03-21 21:19:54 - yonstineru: 2013-03-11 17:25:24 - AlexEverard: yellow - in that case - truce, 2 turns notice?
2013-03-21 21:20:20 - yonstineru: green, when did I publicly announce I was going for you?
2013-03-22 08:03:08 - AlexEverard: gadzooks you are right, i read the earlier bit and failed to read on. My _very_ bad.
2013-03-22 08:04:28 - AlexEverard: On 2013-03-21 14:52:14 you agreed with Red, immediately after he proposed war against me + cyan, plus a truce.
2013-03-22 08:05:41 - AlexEverard: I naturally supposed you were agreeing to both of those things.
2013-03-22 08:09:17 - AlexEverard: If you choose to exact due punishment for this (eg 'I intend to continue to conquer cluster X') and then re-truce I would be up for that.
2013-03-22 08:10:19 - AlexEverard: But again, humblest apologies for lack of notice after I had agreed it. I try never to do that.
2013-03-22 12:12:43 - yonstineru: wow green, apparently you have trouble with facts.
2013-03-22 12:14:15 - yonstineru: 1. red never "proposed war against me + cyan"
2013-03-22 12:15:53 - yonstineru: 2. I never agreed with red and the time stamp 2013-03-21 14:52:14 does not even exist as a time stamp inchat
2013-03-22 12:57:47 - General Quigley: this sure is a lot of verbage; anyone more interested in just playing?
2013-03-22 12:57:53 - General Quigley: I didn't think so.
2013-03-22 16:53:59 - General Quigley: Alex, I am not really following you. Yellow and I agreed to a truce for mutual protection after you and cyan made a truce. I forgot about yours and yellow's truce. Boy, it's getting hard to attack anyone, isn't it?
2013-03-22 16:55:05 - General Quigley: Only the weakest player can attack the strongest now because of all this truce making. What fun!!!
2013-03-22 19:30:28 - AlexEverard: Dont know how I managed to mess up the timestamp, but here are the chat lines I was reading that caused me to suppose you were going to war against me
2013-03-22 19:30:31 - AlexEverard: 2013-03-21 14:41:30 - General Quigley: But very well. Can't beat 'em, join 'em I guess. Yellow, I suggest we concentrate our forces on green and cyan. 2013-03-21 14:41:53 - General Quigley: I offer you a truce yellow. I won't attack you anyway. 2013-03-21
2013-03-22 19:31:12 - AlexEverard: (nureadable first time, tryign again)
2013-03-22 19:31:19 - AlexEverard: 2013-03-21 14:41:30 - General Quigley: But very well. Can't beat 'em, join 'em I guess. Yellow, I suggest we concentrate our forces on green and cyan.
2013-03-22 19:31:28 - AlexEverard: 2013-03-21 14:41:53 - General Quigley: I offer you a truce yellow. I won't attack you anyway.
2013-03-22 19:31:36 - AlexEverard: 2013-03-21 14:43:26 - yonstineru: Sure red, probably as meaningless as the green-cyan truce.
2013-03-22 19:32:16 - AlexEverard: again - apologies if I misread it, and I expect I will (continue to) suffer for it.
2013-03-23 00:30:05 - General Quigley: It is round 42 now. Starting round 44, I declare my truce with yellow to be off.
2013-03-26 13:47:19 - yonstineru: gg cyan
2013-03-26 18:32:20 - yonstineru: gg green
2013-03-26 21:39:07 - AlexEverard: gg all. Yellow, apologies again for messing up.
2013-03-27 03:37:30 - yonstineru: gg red
2013-03-27 19:23:44 - General Quigley: congrats yellow
