Dissolution of NATO and the UN are unequivocally top goals, greenland/Canada/Panama rhetoric is just kabuki/bukake to get everyone revved up and ready to fight each other. Its the pre-amble to later actions that won't actually include greenland or Canada (panama tbd).

Of course Trump would never collude with Russia... these happen to be Putin's #1 life priority for the last 2-3 decades I'm pretty sure that is all just a coincidence.

So I read the 1951 Greenland Treaty and notice one thing I haven't seen reported ...

--> The U.S. has "exclusive jurisdiction" over any area it designates as a defense site. In these areas Danish law does not apply.
--> The treaty has no sunset clause or expiration date. The only way Denmark can ever get out of it is provided in Article XIV, Clause 2:

This Agreement, being in implementation of the North Atlantic Treaty, shall remain in effect for the duration of the North Atlantic Treaty.

In other words, the U.S. - if it chooses - can do anything it wants in Greenland and the only way Denmark can stop it is to withdraw from NATO.

However, in Article VI, the United States agrees that - if DDS is deployed to Greenland - they will try to stop him from impregnating the locals if the King of Denmark requests it.

Due respect will be given by the Government of the United States of America and by United States nationals in Greenland to all the laws, regulations and customs pertaining to the local population and the internal administration of Greenland, and every effort will be made to avoid any contact between United States personnel and the local population which the Danish authorities do not consider desirable for the conduct of operations under this Agreement.

This is a negative regulation, by which I mean there is no provision in the treaty by which the King can demand DDS impregnate the locals. Only stop him from doing so.
