A simple graphics improvement could be to put a picture in the background?

It would fit the style of the other USA maps, eg:

It obviously has to be quite faded and in just the right place to not make the map look more cluttered, but it should make it look more appealing and less clinical?

Quick question, and I'm sorry if this is not the place to ask this but this is my first time posting on here. My current game (Game #20015512), I have six capitals occupied, which I believe should reward me with +3 troops. However, I am only getting +1 for holding State Capitals (1). Is this some kind of error on the maps part or am I just misunderstanding something?

I’m not 100% sure but i do believe the Interstate capitals bonus override the bonus you are talking about, I can see you are getting 3 times +2 for holding 2 or more capitals along the same Interstate.

Don't trust map inspect for those bonuses, if you check the log, you indeed get +3 for having 6 capitals. Map inspect works fine for straightforward bonuses, but runs into problems with conditionnal borders and other more complicated stuff.

Is this intentional? There is no notation on the map saying it should be possible, but I am new so maybe I missed something?

Yes, you can pass through NEUTALS in a trench game.

Yes, you can pass through KILLER NEUTRALS in a trench game.

Fixed

Basically since calgary reverts to neutral when held for a turn, there would be no way to get through it if you couldn't attack from it once taken. So as long as you take killer neutrals, you can keep advancing even though it's trench. But as soon as you take one that isn't, you can't do any further attack from it

On the Stats tab, the State Capitals bonus is calculated incorrectly.

It should be +1 for every two capitals, but it never shows more than 1 no matter how many capitals you hold.

The total deploy is correct on the overview page, and when taking a turn, so this does not affect gameplay.
