I have been playing CC for about 7 years now and i have never bothered to check out the forums

So what goes on here? Is arguing with people in the CC forums at all like competing in the proverbial special olympics? Even if you win you're still retarded

Or do discussions here take place on a more sophisticated level?

It's just like real life:
You engage in 1000 conversations, 950 of them will be routine and forgettable, 25 will be unpleasant arguments that you wish you could forget, 20 will actually be fun and yield a good laugh, 4 will actually give you useful information, and 1 will profoundly change your view of the world. The 975 in the first two categories are a small price to pay for the 25 in the last three categories.

Actually, they do. It's sort of surreal when it happens. It's like the opposite of hockey, where fights break out. Here a discussion actually breaks out until the officials (well actually the agitators) blow the whistle and break them up. :twisted:
