Phase 1
40 players in 5 groups will play 8-player games on the Kingdom of Denmark map. The first player eliminated in each game is out of the tournament. The remainder will go on to the next round.

In our game nobody got eliminated 1st, green got the objective

Yeah, it is pretty rare!

That's the kind of cool move that makes Fog worthwhile on Objectives maps!

Fatalities in Phase One include Creeping Jesus, Stumeister69, Jeremscarem, mr_chopper, and TX AG 90.

Quite an impressive list of players, actually, and not the ones that you usually see eliminated first!

ScootChina has vanished from CC again. Normally when someone drops out I just reinstate the person eliminated in their game, but stumeister69 has lost premium and also been dropped from that game, so I'm activating reserve chidone.

loenatiek, eawilder, and schiballs have all missed their first invite into their Phase 4 games. Invites re-sent.

Eawilder1020 has missed three invites and has to be removed. Activating reserve aalii. I don't normally use a reserve this late in the tournament. The normal pattern has been to resurrect the player eliminated in the missing player's last game. However, in this case that was PonyGal who is permabanned, so we will resort to this unusual step.
