I've updated the scoreboard with all games that have finished. The next quarter will start soon, even though the special teams games are still in progress.

Week 1 Halftime Report
Some close games as we head into half time. Germany holds a 12 point lead over Portugal, but now other game is more than two scores difference. The 2nd quarter contained several big scoring plays, as wepuckett, Kondrad, and myself each scored 2 TDs.

Remember - 2nd half is all Escalating spoils. Games coming soon - enjoy!

Week 1 - 3rd Quarter
Puget Sound pulled ahead of Ireland by 17 points on the shoulders of Full Metal J, who tallied 80 yards and 2 TDs in the 3rd quarter.
In NYC, Kondrad and Jessamine piled up the yards to put a score on the board and bring the game within a FG.
Germany maintained its lead over San Francisco with a team TD, while Wendt100 led Charleston to extend their lead to 11.

Sorry for the delay in getting 4th quarter games out. There was a streaker on the field and he had to be chased down, detained and removed by security. Games will be created and sent in the very near future.

Week 1 Finals
While one triples game is still wrapping up, the outcomes have been decided - with some close finishes in the 4th quarter.

  • In the 4th quarter on Netherlands turf, New York rallied 14 points and held the Dutch to 6 points to win the game. A Dutch win in the triples match would have sent this game into overtime!
  • Great Lakes came within 5 points of defeating Portugal on their own turf, but couldn't stop the Portuguese potent offense.
  • England opened up their scoring early in quarter 4, connecting for three quick TDs and coming within just 5 yards of another, but Charleston staged a late game comeback with Wendt100's 2 TDs in the waning minutes of the game.
  • Wendt100 went 8/12 on the ground, racking up 105 yards and 3 TDs earned him the Week 1 MVP award.

One last note - there was an error in earlier scoring that did not count all extra points for the winning trips team. This has been corrected and did not affect the outcome of any games.

Arthas Menethil has missed 2 invites without prior notice. As a result, team Ireland will lose 30 yards this quarter. If the third invites expire, team San Francisco will gain 60 yards.

Freemiums remember all 4 spots are required to be open for the tournament.
