You do realize his premium just went out. 4 is the limit. Means he started a ton before it went out.

Aha - that explains it.
Not sure how I would know his premium just ran out - dont think he paid me.

This happened to me recently, as well. Premium ran out, and I was in a bunch of games still. I actually managed to start a speed game within seconds of my membership expiring. I was freemium before it started. I was happy it didn't kick me, and played an entire speed game as a freemie.

I don't remember if this got clarified, but also, they should mention you can have only 50 waiting at any one time.

Is this anywhere on the instructions or help pages? Can it be added there? Is the limit still 4 games?
